About Whimit:
Whimit.com is the largest and most active Russian-American, Online Community. Since our launch in 2000 Whimit has grown to over 40,000 members and our membership continues to grow every day. Our audience is composed primarily of young (15- 25) bilingual (English/Russian) 1st and 2nd generation immigrants from Russia and the republics of the former Soviet Union. Most of our members (75%) reside in the local NY Tri-State area, with an overwhelming majority in Brooklyn, NY.

Ad Formats:
760x90 rotating banners are displayed on the top of each page. Our advertising software allows you to keep track of the amount of times your banners have been shown and how many people clicked on them. They are sold in blocks of 10% of impressions.
120x100 static banners are displayed on the right side of the page. They are available on individual pages as well as run of the site.
Text ads display a message and link to a website of your choice. We offer three different text links: Front Page, Gallery, and Profile.
Broadcast Have us send a private comment containing a message of your choice to everyone on Whimit or target your demographic audience based on age, gender and geographic location.
Event System Promoting for an event? Request to be given Promoter Status which will allow you to have a text message announcing your event to be displayed on our Event Page and will allow our members to join your Guest list and let you know they are coming. You may also request for your event to be a "Featured Event" which will attract a larger audience by allow you to display your flyer and will give your event top placement on the Event Page and a *Highlighted* look on the Front Page.
